There are many issues Americans are plagued with. The justice system seems to come up in conversation pretty often. The case with the bail bond system is in desperate need for repair. Many political officials speak on the state of the bail bond system. They also speak on ways the system can be improved. Court bail bond Paradise NV and other cities around the country are in need of help of improving their bail bond system.
The bail bond system has been called a money system or money put by some people. There is a movement taking place in the United States that exposes the unfairness that happens to many people who have to pay outrageous amounts of money to the bond system. Around four hundred thousand people get put in jail daily due to not having the money to pay for bail. Some people call this debtor’s prison, which is illegal but is practiced in almost all fifty states. An abolition for many jurisdictions that hold people for not having money to pay for bail has began to pick up speed in America.
Many wealthy people and billionaires have endorsed and finally supported organizations and projects that aide people who are unfairly held in debtor’s prison. Democrats primarily are the ones that discuss these issues. The No Money Bail Act is an act that has been introduced in an effort to help those that are unfairly punished with debts from the justice system. The democrat senator that introduced the act wants this unfair justice to end and wants to create a justice system that is financially fair to all people.
Debtor’s prison may not be something many people have heard of. The United States discarded of this type of imprisonment around two hundred years ago. However, there are examples of this type of prison still secretly occurring in the United States justice system. The state and local courts get away with this by charging fees for prosecutors, jail operation and public defenders. The justice system has one again found a way to violate the rights of people by suppressing people who cannot afford lofty bail and bond fees. Debtor’s prison basically affects low income or unemployed people.
Human costs increase when debtor’s prison is increased. Many people feel as though this is a way to contain piece of specific races and socioeconomic backgrounds. Taxpayer money supports the jails that the prisoners remain in until they are released. This can become a bigger expense for taxpayers, since many of these people cannot pay to get out. This system is unfair because it is two tiered. The two tiers are one for the poor and one for the rich. Both social classes get jailed for the same crimes. The only difference is that one class can bail themselves out immediately, whereas the other social class sits in a jail cell because they cannot afford to get out of debtor’s prison. Hopefully, in due time the bail bond system will receive ample reform.
